Damai Laut Golf & Country Club
About
Ronald Fream-designed parkland-links layout between Penang and KL
An attractive par-72 championship course located within Damai Laut in Perak, the Ronald Fream-designed Damai Laut Golf & Country Club is set on top of a hill with spectacular views towards the Straits of Malacca and Pangkor Island. Lush flower plantings and natural greens are added to create some scenic landscape that blends beautifully with the rich green forest in the background. While it's by no means the toughest course in Malaysia, there's enough water in play to keep you on your toes and the TifEagle greens make for some very fast putts.
The signature hole is the 388-yard par 4 15th, where your tee shot must clear the crest of a hill. After that, the hole plays steeply downhill to a beauty of a green that sits right on the seaside. Make sure to avoid the bunkers that protect the green, which can cause some serious troubles.
The clubhouse features a pro shop offering a full range of golf attire and equipment for purchase or rental, locker rooms with open-air showers, and a Golfers’ Terrace where cool refreshing beverages and an ala carte menu are available all day.
